Tuesday

We set off from Thurne Dyke at about 8am and turned left on to the main river Thurne and then soon left on to the Bure again. Soon after that we turned on to the River Ant, one we have never visited before.

It was a delightful experience and there were plenty of dead ends to explore. Our first one was Gay's Landing then we called in to Barton Turf where we fed the swans who hissed at Harris - and she was traumatised!

Then we were off to Sutton where there was a lovely grassy patch for Harris to entertain Andrew. We were also able to fill up with water and get rid of rubbish.

Hissing swans!
